This Privacy Policy describes how Women Ignite Fire ("we," "us," "our") — the company behind the Grandma Vivienne brand — collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, sign up for our emails, purchase a digital product, or interact with our social media accounts.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us:

Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter, request a free guide, or purchase a product.
Name — optional, when you fill out a signup form.
Payment information — when you purchase a product, payment details are handled directly by our payment provider. We do not see or store your card number.
Comments and DMs on social media — when you interact with our posts (for example, commenting a keyword to receive a guide), the platform shares your username and the content of your interaction with us through the messaging and scheduling tools we use.

Information collected automatically:

Analytics — page views, referrer, browser type, country. We use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool to understand which pages perform well.
Pinterest tag — pages viewed on this site, recorded by Pinterest so we can see which Pins bring visitors here and measure advertising. See section 4.
Email engagement — opens, clicks and unsubscribes, recorded by our email provider.
Server logs — standard request metadata for security and debugging.

2. How we use your information

To send you marketing emails about wardrobe content, product launches, and related offers (with your consent — you can unsubscribe anytime)

To improve our content based on aggregate analytics
To deliver links via DM after you comment a keyword on our social posts

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers needed to operate our business, and only as far as each needs it:

Payment processing — a regulated payment provider handles your card details directly. We never see or store your card number.
Email delivery — an email service provider sends your guides, receipts and any letters you have asked for.
File and media storage — a cloud storage provider holds the guides you download.
Social media publishing and messaging — scheduling and direct-message tools, used when you interact with our posts.
Website hosting — an infrastructure provider runs the site itself.

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policy and is contractually required to safeguard your data. If you would like to know which specific companies we use, write to us at the address in section 12 and we will tell you.

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies required for the site to function (session cookies for the admin area) and privacy-focused, cookieless analytics.

We also use the Pinterest tag on our public pages. This is a small piece of code from Pinterest that records which pages you visit on this site, so that we can understand which Pins bring people here and, if we advertise on Pinterest in future, measure and target those adverts. It sets cookies from Pinterest and is a form of third-party advertising and retargeting technology. We do not send Pinterest your email address or any other information you have given us. You can opt out of Pinterest's advertising personalisation in your Pinterest account settings, and most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies entirely.

5. Affiliate links

Many of the product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. The commercial side of this is set out in our Terms of Service; what follows is what it means for your data.

Some affiliate links pass through a link-management service before reaching the retailer. That service records the click — typically which link was used, the time, your approximate location and your browser and device type — so the sale can be attributed to us. We use it only to see which products our readers find useful. We do not send it your name or your email address.

Once you arrive at a retailer such as Amazon, you are on their website and their privacy policy applies, not ours. Retailers set their own cookies to remember who referred you so the commission can be paid. We have no access to your account with that retailer, and we are never told what you bought — only that a qualifying purchase happened and what it earned. We cannot identify you from an affiliate report.

Blocking third-party cookies, or using a browser that blocks tracking, may stop a retailer attributing your purchase to us. That costs us a commission and costs you nothing, and you are perfectly welcome to do it.

6. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your information ("right to be forgotten")
Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
Restrict or object to certain processing
Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a portable format

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Email subscribers' data is retained until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are retained for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years).

8. Children's privacy

Our content is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. AI-generated content

Some of the content published under the Grandma Vivienne name (videos, images, captions) is created with the assistance of artificial intelligence. The Grandma Vivienne persona is a fictional character voiced and visually rendered by AI tools. This does not affect how we handle YOUR personal data — your information is still treated exactly as described in this policy.

10. International users

If you access our Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via email to active subscribers.
